HR Services Coordinator

Job Description Summary

South Shore Hospital, Southeastern Massachusetts's leading provider of emergency, acute, and outpatient care, is seeking an experienced HR Services Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. The location of this role is flexible, with work able to be conducted from our main campus in Weymouth, or a hybrid of in-person and remote work. Reporting to the Manager, Benefits & HR Services Operations, the HR Services Coordinator will provide support for our Benefits & Recruiting department and other HR programs.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Respond to internal and external questions and inquiries about benefits, recruiting and other HR programs and issues
  • Research and resolve routine questions related to the use of the HR policies and practices
  • Suggest methods to update, simplify, and enhance processes, procedures, and technologies
  • Provide guidance and counsel to colleagues on the requirements and provisions of benefit & recruiting programs and assists with more complex resolution of potential problems
  • Document all contacts and outcomes with the HR Service Center’s case management system
  • Complete HR transactions in Workday as required
  • Assist with collecting and confirming data necessary to complete employee mailings, vendor billings, coordinating data collection and updating benefits & recruiting reports to leadership

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be able to anticipate and meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Time management skills, the ability to multitask, and prioritization skills are critical
  • Ability to work independently, but also as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Workday a plus
  • Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • 1+ years of human resources experience (benefits & recrruiting experience preferred)
  • Familiarity with benefits program and benefits administration, including Section 125 regulations, COBRA, FMLA, HIPAA, and IRS regulations
