Job Description Summary

Under the general direction of the HR Operations & Technology Manager, provides administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources Division

Job Description

  • Assists with all administrative duties relating to the talent acquisition and HR operations processes.
  • Works collaboratively with all functions of the HR Division as well as the Health System.
  • Adheres to all internal Human Resources processes and procedures.
  • Updates staffing reports and other data related spreadsheets/reporting tools.
  • Participates in coordinating, scheduling and interviewing candidates.
  • Works collaboratively with and supports hiring managers in the talent acquisition life cycle.
  • Assists with reference check process, background check and employment eligibility process.
  • Monitors state and federal labor laws and coordinates updates across the organization as needed.
  • Provides back up coverage for the HR receptionist for daily breaks and vacation.
  • Performs additional duties and assignments as requested.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Education – Preferred

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum Work Experience

  • One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in a Human Resources department or equivalent.

Required additional Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Must have word processing experience; Microsoft Word, Excel required and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Workday preferred  
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and judgement skills required coupled with flexibility in assignments and multi-tasking. 
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with highly confidential information with discretion. 
  • Must enjoy teamwork and provide excellent customer service.
