Job Description Summary

This position, under the guidance of the Patient Food Service Manager, involves the coordination of patient tray line services for all staff and volunteers at South Shore Health. The individual will manage kitchen personnel. It is essential to establish and maintain effective communication with all staff and the community. The role also requires providing technical support in the planning and implementation of daily menus while developing work schedules that comply with budgetary limits. Daily safety inspections and monitoring are performed to ensure adherence to regulations. The individual is tasked with ensuring that food is presented in an appealing manner and handled according to the standards set by the Weymouth Health Board and the Joint Commission. Furthermore, the responsibilities include navigating the EPIC systems and related applications, managing payroll, and ensuring that the proper closing procedures for the Main Kitchen are followed.
