Home Health Aides Home Care

Job Summary:
A trained, certified, para–professional, who is prepared to assist professional clinical providers (RN or Therapist) in the care of the patient in the home and provides direct home and personal care services for the sick and/or disabled according to the plan of care. The duties of the Home Health Aide/HCA III are planned and assigned by the professional clinical provider to meet the patient and caregiver's needs. The Home Health Aide/HCA III is not a substitute for the professional clinical provider, but he/she may perform patient care under the direct supervision of the professional clinical provider.

Qualifications:
Demonstrates satisfactory compliance with State and Federal Requirements for Home Health Aide/HCA III competency.  Evidence of completion of state approval training program or equivalent.  Good communication skills, which includes ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language effectively.  Demonstrates satisfactory compliance with State and Federal Requirements for Home Health Aide/HCA III competency.  Must demonstrate maturity and ability to deal effectively with issues related to delivery of services.  Must be able to drive/or use public transportation to patients' homes.
