Screening Colleagues, Patients and/or Visitors entering the building at assigned entrance point(s)

Job Description

Primary Duties:

  • Screening Colleagues, Patients and/or Visitors entering the building at assigned entrance point(s)
  • Ask current screening for symptoms questions
  • Hand out mask, if individual is not wearing one upon entry
  • Deny entry if individual answers yes to any screening question
  • Refer any issues/resistance to screening to Public Safety representative
  • May assist with escorting visitor or patient if needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education Preferred

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum Work Experience

Some customer service or health care experience preferred

Required additional Knowledge and Abilities

Orient to standard screening questions and process, learn the appropriate protocol and documentation if individual screens out, learn chain of command to deal with any instances of resistance or disturbance with any individual, stay up to date with all current and future screening guidelines as situations evolve

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit/stand majority of shift
  • Minimal walking as needed
