- Emergency Care: Fourth-busiest ED in the Commonwealth with 24/7 coverage, and 24/7 Pediatric Coverage from Children's Hospital
- Trauma Care: Licensed Level II trauma center with 24/7 coverage
- Acute Care: Medical, surgical, obstetrical/gynecological, pediatric, cardiovascular and cancer care
- ICU: Brand new, $70 million, 24-bed state-of-the-art unit with a new step-down unit that will be completed in 2018
- Surgical Care: Region's largest program with a multidisciplinary team
- Cardiovascular Care: Our cardiovascular center is the only one of its kind in the region, offered in clinical affiliation with Brigham and Women's Hospital
- Cancer Care: The Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center in clinical affiliation with South Shore Hospital allows local access to advanced treatments, including clinical trials
- Maternal and Newborn Care: Licensed Level III provider, as well as the only community-based neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), staffed 24 hours a day by on-site neonatologists from Children's Hospital Boston
- Pediatric Care: Collaborative relationship with Children's Hospital Boston, now providing a 24/7 pediatric emergency service, the only one of its kind in the region
- Outpatient Care: South Shore Medical Center is the region's leading provider of outpatient services located in Weymouth, Norwell and Kingston. We have over 100 providers in primary care and specialties that are unmatched in all of southeastern Massachusetts
- Urgent Care: Two locations in Norwell and Kingston that provide same day appointments to our patients requiring immediate medical care
- The Outpatient Center for Orthopedics, Spine and Sports Medicine: Located at 2 Pond Park Rd in Hingham, this is the only facility of its kind in Southeastern Massachusetts that offers an extensive team of surgical, pain management, physiatry and diagnostic imaging experts who specialize in musculoskeletal conditions
- Wound Care: Provides leading-edge wound diagnostic and treatment methods, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, to manage even the most complex wounds

There is no doubt that COVID has challenged us all personally and professionally. As Nurse Anesthetists, we have the skills and training to help people who need critical airway support. We were so used to working primarily in the operating room and, as we switched gears into a new environment, it felt strangely comfortable for us. What I am most humbled by and proud of is the strong sense of camaraderie felt throughout the hospital, as people came together to do what was right for the community and for our patients. I won’t ever forget that.
