Administrative
You will collaborate with many different levels of colleagues and departments to maintain efficient operations for your area. We offer significant opportunity for growth; many of our colleagues experience career development within our Health System. Roles include Unit Coordinators, Practice Coordinators, Operations Supervisors and Call Center Operators.
Health Information Management
The Health Information Management Department provides employment opportunities ranging from admin/clerical positions (Data Quality Analyst and HIM Documentation Coordinator) to more specialized positions (Coder I, II and ED Services). Our Coders can work in either outpatient or inpatient roles, as well as many other specialty areas. We train to build expertise in many different areas, such as Inpatient and Emergency Department. Others start their careers in a clerical role (Data Quality Analyst, HIM Documentation Coordinator, etc.) while obtaining coding certification. We’ve upgraded to ICD-10 and utilize EPIC for our system-wide medical electronic records.
Patient Access Services
There are many opportunities within the Patient Access Department (registration). Patient Access Coordinators, Patient and Family Representatives, Pre-Access Coordinators and Financial Counselors provide in-person help to our patients who receive care through our emergency department or various outpatient areas. We offer flexible schedules and training and a great foundation for a nursing or medical career.
