for full-time Registered Nurses in acute, ambulatory or home care with more than 5 years of experience

for full-time Registered Nurses in acute, ambulatory or home care with 5 or less years of experience
$5,000
for full-time diagnostic imaging (all modalities), surgical, medical/lab or respiratory Specialists, Technicians, Technologists or Therapists
$3,000
for full-time Nursing Assistants, Medical Assistants, Pharmacy Technicians or Aides in VNA, hospice, imaging or rehab
Eligibility and Program Rules
In order to be eligible for the program, the following rules apply:
- Referring and referral colleagues must both be actively employed at time of referral and during scheduled payment of bonus.
- Applicant must document name of colleague referring on application in order to be eligible for referral bonus. Only one referral name will apply.
- Applicant must be hired and start in one of the positions and areas documented above within 6 months of referral date.
- Director and above, hiring manager or other person associated with the hiring of the position and recruiter colleagues are not eligible for the program.
- Candidates referred must have one or more years of experience in the position being referred.
- Referred candidate must be hired into a position with regular budgeted hours. Per diems hires, transfers, temp hires and contractors will not be eligible for this program.
- Payments will be made in two installments and require both candidate and employee to be in active employment status in order to be eligible.
- 25% paid within 30 days of referral hire date
- 75% paid after 120 days of referral hire date

This program is entered into voluntarily and is not an implied contract or a guarantee of employment. All bonus payments are subject to appropriate taxes and withholdings. South Shore Health in its sole discretion may cancel or terminate this program at any time for any reason and is subject to review/revision. South Shore Health reserves the right to deny bonus payments to a colleague who improperly makes promises or assurances of employment to prospective or actual candidates or otherwise engages in improper or inappropriate conduct related to this referral program.
